Occasional field notes from the island. Delivered when the coffee is hot and the baby is sleeping.

Hi there,

You’re receiving this message because you signed up to receive Field Notes From The Island.

First, welcome.

The island is a strange place. Time moves differently here. Coffee is reheated more than once. Someone is usually sticky.

These notes are small observations from life inside the newborn bubble. Part survival log, part love letter to the tiny humans who live here with me.

Some entries are funny. Some are a little tired. Some are surprisingly holy for a place where someone is always asking for a snack.

If you’ve ever been on an island like this, you’ll recognize the terrain. If you’re here now, I’m glad you found your way.

New field notes arrive occasionally, usually written between the night watch and the morning snack negotiations.

Until then, feel free to wander the journal.

Thanks for being here.
